September 2017 Update
Here’s what happened in September and some plans for the future.
I started mentoring/supporting folks remotely with their QuickBooks® needs. This is a great way to get your unique questions answered quickly. The support is provided over the phone and if you’d like, I can remote into your computer to see the specific items you have questions about. I worked with a handful of folks in September using a new remote screen-sharing software and the results/reviews have been great. Just like prior months, students are continuing to enroll in my QuickBooks® Desktop video training courses; just over 150 new students in September! If you’re looking for an easy way to learn about QuickBooks® Desktop at YOUR pace, check out these courses. Links to the courses are below.
As mentioned in last month’s update, I’m currently working on a kindle version of my course How to Make QuickBooks® More User-Friendly that will then (hopefully) be available in printed copy as well. It’s more of a technical/instructional manual, but I wanted to create it for the QuickBooks® users that would rather have a book instead of a video training course. The end-of-September completion has come and gone. I’ve been a little preoccupied getting my remote support/mentoring established and hope to spend more time finishing up the book. I’m hopeful it will be available in October.
The next video training course is in production mode but has been a little neglected due to getting the remote support/mentoring established. Ideally, it will be completed by the end of November. It’s a wonderful complement to my other course How to Make QuickBooks® More User-Friendly. Both courses really focus on ways to make using QuickBooks® easier and streamlined. The new course focuses on using keyboard shortcuts in QuickBooks® Desktop. This topic is one of my favorites as I use keyboard shortcuts frequently and benefit from the time I save when using them.
As always, if you have questions, ask:-) and remember, QuickBooks® help is here!
